Start-Up and Operation
1. Application
With this combination instrument you can easily measure distances either with
the ultrasonic rangefinder or with the build-in tape measure. There is also a
circular spirit level for quick evaluation of level surfaces.
Measuring distances is aided by an aiming laser, with which the unit can be
precisely aimed at the target. With the integrated calculator with memory
function distances, squares and volumes can be calculated. Values are shown
in the LC display. A low battery is indicated in the display.
To carry the unit on the belt, clip the belt clip (9) to your belt. Now just hold the
unit to the clip. The strong magnet will snap to the tripod socket (10) and will
hold the unit safely in place.
2. Inserting the Battery
Press the latch on the battery
compartment cover (11) on the back of
the unit and open the cover.
Connect a 9 V block battery (6LR61 /
6F22) to the battery clip in the battery
compartment.
Insert the battery into the battery
compartment and close the battery
compartment cover. It must lock with an
audible click.
3. Low Battery Indicator
If the battery is running low, the battery low symbol appears in the upper
left of the display. The battery should be replaced as soon as possible to
avoid erroneous results.
If the battery is fully drained, e.G. due to having been stored for too long,
the display will not work and the battery should be replaced.
Batteries do not belong in household
garbage.
