the displayed value of both rooms is stored in the memory. Now measure
the two distances in the third room and press “=”. After that, press “+” and
then “RECALL” and finally “=” for the combined square of all three rooms.
The addition of the volumes of two rooms is done following the same
principle. All you have to do is including the height of the rooms in your
calculation and safe that value.

Do not look into the laser beam and do not aim at persons or animals. Be
especially careful on e. G. construction sites with many people moving
about. Warn all people in the object before taking a measurement and keep
them out of the measured area.

Hold the unit steady while taking a measurement to achieve the best
possible result.

Make sure the measuring target must be in a right angle to the instrument
and must have a surface which reflects sound well. Materials which absorb
sound very well, e.G. textiles or fibres are not suitable as targets.

Environmental influences, for instance other ultrasonic devices or a rapidly
changing temperature, may compromise the measured results. Repead
your measurement several times to be sure.
