Never move the unit by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord
cannot get caught in any way. Do not wind the cord around the
unit and do not bend it.
Do not conduct the cord over sharp edges and corners or hot
surfaces. Never pull the cord to unplug, but always grasp the
power plug.
Keep the coffee maker and the accessories clean at all times.
Do not overfill the coffee maker. The respective marks on the
glass carafe act as measures for you. Always use the supplied
carafe to fill the coffee maker.
Never operate the coffee maker without water to avoid a switch-
off because of overheating. If the overheating protection has
been activated, please wait 10 minutes before you use the unit
again.
Never fill water into the container when it is heated up. Wait for at
least 10 minutes before you use the coffee maker again.
Do not fill the machine with hot water. Use only cold water.
Boiling water or steam can cause injuries. Please be very
attentive when handling hot water and steam.
Hot steam can leak out the machine. Never touch any hot parts
during use.
Always close the lid while brewing.
Do not continue to use the glass carafe if it is damaged. In such
case, please contact our customer service.
Do not continue to use the coffee maker if the coffee maker or
the line cord are damaged. Repair work must be done by a
qualified service technician.
If there is a water leakage inside the unit or in the operating
panel, do not continue to use the unit. Contact our customer
service.
Never disassemble the coffee machine or try to repair it yourself.
No part can be changed or repaired by you. In case of questions
or problems please turn to our customer service.
