Notes for the Grinding Disc to be used
To avoid injuries always use suitable grinding discs that are in proper
condition!
With the simple sound test you can check the disc for cracks and
damages. Hang up the grinding disc so it can swing freely (e. g. on a thick
thread) und knock the disc edge with an object. The disc should give a
clear and high pitch sound. If the sound is damped or blank, the grinding
disc is defective and should not be used furthermore.
Make sure before carrying out any work on the saw chain sharpener that
the battery is removed.
Changing the Grinding Disc
1. Switch off the machine and remove the battery!
2. Remove the protective cover (2). Unscrew the
3 retaining screws.
3. Hold the grinding disc (14) firmly with one hand
and loosen the flange nut by turning counter
clockwise.
4. Replace the grinding disc by a new one.
5. Tighten the flange nut by turning clockwise and hand-tight only.
