Operation
Inserting the Battery
Attention! Before Changing the Battery! Disconnect the unit from all circuitry
and remove the measuring cables. Use the rotary function switch (4) to turn
the unit OFF.
The unit is powered by a 12 V A23 battery. Loosen the lower screw on the
back side, press on the chequered panel and slide the battery compartment
cover off the unit. Now you can insert or change the battery. Please observe
correct polarity ( + and – symbols are in the battery compartment).
When the low battery symbol
appears in the display, the battery should
be replaced.

Taking Measurements
Attention! When taking alternating current measurements (AC), the measuring
cables must be removed from the unit.
For all other measurements please use the included measuring cables.
Connect the red measuring cable to the V/

- input (6) and the black
measuring cable to the COM - input (7).
With the
Hold Button
(2) you can freeze any current value on the display. To
continue taking measurements, press hold again.
