3.4.1 CSD Single Port
The simplest configuration for Circuit Switched Data (CSD) is
single port operation, this means that when a connection is
established the pre-configured serial port is always connected.
The Circuit switched mode settings are access by select-
ing the
Wireless
tab from the main menu and then
Circuit
switched mode
from the sub-menu,
Figure 41
shows the Circuit
switched mode page. The selected port will always be provid-
ed with a standard "AT" command interface, allowing a device
attached to the port to initiate dialing and answer incoming
calls.

1. Set the
Operating mode
to
Direct to single port
and click
Update
.
2. Click on the
Edit icon
of desired serial port to access unit
configuration. A new screen will be displayed.
3. Set the number of rings until answered, the
DCD Mode
and
the
DTR function
for the port selected in step 2.
4. Click
Update
to save the changes.
