Trouble shooting
Troubleshooting should only be carried out by a specialist or by service staff from an authorised
WESSAMAT specialist dealer.

Machine produces an
ice plate
1. Ice thickness motor
faulty, gearing no longer
rotating
2. Defective ice thickness
limit switch (limit contacts
are stuck or oxidised)
3. Tilting motor faulty
(trough does no longer tilt)
4. Water level too high
(water
in
the
trough
touches
the
horizontal
evaporator tubes)
1. Replace ice thickness motor
2. Replace ice thickness limit switch
3. Replace tilting motor
4. Water level sensor soiled - clean
or readjust probe
Tub only tilts approxi-
mately one third or not
at all, and ice cubes are
not discharged
1. The direction of rotation
of the tilting motor chang-
es under load

Tub tilts fully (contact
