3. Connect the water drainage hoses of the ice maker module and the storage container.
Make sure that the hose always runs with a slope (!) and does
not have any bends. If the drain hose does not have a sufficient
slope, the storage container may overflow and water contamina-
tion may result. It may be essential to use commercially availa-
ble plastic angles for laying in tight bends.
Water-cooled devices have an additional drain hose. This is to be connected to the sewage network outside
the machine. Do not put this hose in the storage container!
For hygienic reasons, the drain hoses must not have a direct connection to the sewage network.
(See installation suggestion in the connection diagram.)
6. Connect the water inlet hose of the ice maker module to the water tap.
7. For CL / CW and ECL / ECW models, first connect the ice maker module and the crusher or combina-
tion module with the communication cable, then the Schuko plug (mains lead) is plugged into the mains
socket (230V/50Hz).
