The filter (filter size) is the number of measured values the sensor uses for avera-
ging. The larger the filter, the slower the response time of the sensor.
7.20. Emitted Light
In the “Emitted Light” menu item, the intensity of the emitted light can be modified or the emitted light can be
switched off.

Automatic:
Automatically adjustment depending on the received intensity.
That function decreases the response time of the sensor.
Maximum:
Increased signal strength makes it possible to detect dark
objects with minimal remission.
Minimum:
Reduced signal strength makes it possible to better detect
the color values of very bright objects.
Off:
Emitted light is switched off and only extraneous light is
evaluated. Luminescent objects can be detected in this way.
