Loosen and remove the lock collar from the outer shaft (

).

55.

Remove the heavy hex nuts and alignments nuts, and then slide the top cap off the outer shaft.

56.

Inspect the retaining ring, bearing, and wiper ring in the top cap. Replace them if they show signs of wear or damage.

57.

Replace the O-rings and back ups in the top cap.

58.

Remove the outer shaft from the insertion cylinder.

59.

Inspect the wiper ring and shaft bearing in the outer shaft. Replace them if they show signs of wear or damage.

60.

Replace the O-ring and back ups on the piston.
