Issue. A 1216
The power LED is off & there is not welding current
Check running status of fan
Replace if faulty. If fan works may indicate control PCB PK-63 may be defective
Check fuse , power switch & primary lead
Replace if faulty
There is no response when operating the torch trigger, and protection LED if off
Check the torch trigger is working
Replace if Faulty
Check the torch is well connected to the Euro
connection
Replace or repair
The wire feeder feeds wire when operating the torch trigger, gas feeds but there is no output current & the
protection LED is off
Check the work return is connected
Refit if required
Check the quick plug is connected
Refit if required
Check the Euro connector is intact
Repair or replace
Check Welding Torch for Damage
Repair or Replace
Welding can be carried out when pushing the torch trigger, but the voltage cannot be adjusted
Check the Voltage feedback inside the machine
is in good condition.
If check Ok PCB may be defective
Welding current is unstable
Check the pressure arm of wire feeder
Correct pressure
Check drive roll matched the wire being used
Ensure correct type & style used
Check the contact tip for wear and matches wire
type/size being used
Ensure correct type & style used
Check the welding wire is in good condition.
Use only dry, oil free wire. Replace if required
Check the torch & lead connections
Ensure correctly fitted
Other malfunction
