NFORMATION
The maintenance sections of this
Operator’s and Maintenance Manual
contain maintenance
instructions for the machine. Do not attempt any maintenance procedure that is not fully understood,
or that cannot be safely and accurately performed with the available tools and equipment.
•Attach a “DO NOT OPERATE” or similar warning tag to the Battery Ground Disconnect Switch
or controls before servicing or repairing machine. Remove key from ignition switch.
•If a problem is encountered that is not understood or cannot be solved, contact your authorized
Weiler dealer.
•Be sure all safety devices, including shields, guards, and barriers are installed and functioning
properly after servicing the machine.
•Ensure that all safety information, warnings, and instructions are read and understood before
any operation or any maintenance procedures are performed.
NOTICE:
The user is responsible for the performance of maintenance, including all adjustments, the
use of proper lubricants, fluids, filters, and the replacement of components due to normal wear and
aging. Failure to adhere to proper maintenance intervals and procedures may result in diminished
performance of the product and/or accelerated wear of components.
•Use service hours, or calendar time, whichever occurs first, in order to determine the
maintenance intervals. Products that operate in severe operating conditions may require more
frequent maintenance.
NOTICE:
Perform all daily grease lubrication and maintenance procedures at the end of each
machine operation while the machine is still warm after machine has been cleaned.
•Ensure all grease zerks are clean before applying grease. Immediately replace any broken or
missing grease zerks.
•Refer to
, for fluid and lubricant requirements.
•Make no modifications to machine unless specifically requested or authorized by Weiler.
WARNING
Failure to follow any of the safety instructions within this manual could
result in death or serious injury. This machine is to be used only for those
purposes for which it was intended as explained in this manual.
