As the example in Figure 3 shows, an access point can connect to multiple clients. In this case, the access point
should be the central unit.

An access point could be used as a repeater unit to connect two WI-MOD-xxx-E-5W clients that do not have direct
reliable radio paths. There is no special repeater module
—any WI-MOD-xxx-E-5W module can function as a
repeater and at the same time be connected to Ethernet devices or be on a LAN. Multiple access points can be set-
up in a
“mesh” network to provide multiple repeaters.
