Replacement of the retaining rings (Pos� 5 & Pos� 6) of connectors with the
sealing range from Ø15�8 mm

Move the clamping lever (Pos. 2) to the straight starting position. The clamping
jaws (Pos. 9) and the front seal (Pos. 7) must be relaxed.
Î
Slightly push two clamping
jaw segments (Pos. 9)
apart with the
WEH
®
O-ring picker so that a
small gap is created.
Î
Insert the
WEH
®
O-ring picker into
the gap and lift the
retaining ring (Pos. 5).
Î
Roll the retaining ring over the
shaft (Pos. 11).
Î
Unhook the clamping jaw
segments (Pos. 9) one after
the other from the additional
retaining ring (Pos. 6).
Î
Check the clamping jaws for
damage. If they are damaged,
replace the clamping jaws.
Î
Lift the additional
retaining ring (Pos. 6)
with the WEH
®
O-ring picker
and remove it from the con-
nector.
