2. To select a file, click the filename under the
File Manager
list. To navigate the list:

The file size in bytes is shown in parentheses adjacent to each filename.

The name of the current directory is shown just above the list of files.

To view file names in the next higher directory, double click
[-Previous Directory-]
if
available.

To view file names in the next lower directory, double click any selection displayed in red
text inside square brackets (such as
[directoryname]
).
3. To view a file, select the file and click the
View File
button or double-click the filename to
open/play the file on your screen. The file is opened by the application indicated by the
file extension (For example,
Windows Media Player
for
.mpg
files,
Microsoft Word
for
.doc
files).
4. To delete a file, select the file and click the
Delete File
button.
5. To rename the file, select the file, and type the new name in the
Rename File
box. After
completing the new filename, click the
Rename File
button.
Note:
File names can include upper and lower case letters, numerals, decimals, and spaces.
Leading or following spaces are truncated, so the file name may not begin or end with a
space or spaces.
