Connector
Details
The DB-9 female alarm connector on the rear panel provides contact closures and openings
during alarm conditions as well as a user relay available for control by
Compel
command
(USER CC). Normal conditions represent the contact in normally functioning, powered
operation. Other conditions or commands will reverse the status of the contact from its
normal position.
Pin functions of the DB-9 alarm connector are listed in
Table 2.2
. Pin 1 is the common
connection used by both pins 2 and 6. In alarm mode, Pins 1 and 2 are connected together.
When not in alarm mode, Pins 1 and 6 are connected together.
