Genlock
Setup
If you have a professional video decoder installed in your
iPump 6400
, you have the option
to enable or disable synchronization of the video output signal to an external timing source
commonly referred to as Genlock.
The
iPump 6400’s
genlock feature allows you to:

view the genlock state

activate or disable genlock

set the Horizontal Time Delay

select the Subcarrier Phase
To set this feature up from the front panel, see
Genlock Setup
on page 35.
1. From the
Setup
tab, select
Decoder
from the
Setup
tab’s drop-down menu.
2. Click the
Edit
button under either
Genlock Settings For Decoder #1
or
Genlock Settings
For Decoder #2
(optional) to change the settings.
3. Update the settings by selecting the available options from the drop-down boxes. The
descriptions are in the table below.
4. To save your changes, click the
Activate
button. Any changes take effect immediately. To
discard any changes, click the
Cancel
button. Selecting
Activate
or
Cancel
returns you to
the previous screen.

Genlock
Enable requests genlock activation
Disable genlock is inactive and the video output
synchs to the decoder's internal clock
Horizontal Time
Delay
Limits are +2 to -2
(1-pixel steps) adjusts horizontal delay for (genlocked)
video timing
Subcarrier Phase
Limits are +180 to -180
in 1.4-degree increments adjusts composite (genlocked) video
subcarrier phase
