Chapter 3 Connecting to a PC
Default Ethernet Parameters and Settings
The bracketed bold settings below represent the defaults as delivered from the factory:

IP Address Mode: [

- DHCP, Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol, allows for dynamic distribution of network
settings by a DHCP server.
- Fixed, also referred to as a static IP address, is configured manually for a specified net

- Subnet, a method used to logically divide and isolate networks.

To change Ethernet parameters:
1. Push the
Menu

buttons, in that order.
2. Under "Communications Channels" push
Ethernet

3. Change desired settings.
4. Cycle power to the F4T (changes to IP address will take effect until this step is performed)
