Tools:
• Allen keys: 2, 2.5, 3 mm

1 Fit the upper wire tube and the
wire guide plate. See FIGURE 4:20.
Important:
• For Lot 15 stitch heads and ear-
lier, without the later type of
upper wire tube, then see
Section
4.11.1 .
• For Lot 16 stitch heads and later,
or with the later type of upper
wire tube fitted, then see
Section
4.11.2 .

2 Cycle the stitch head mechanism
2 or 3 times. • Hold the stitch head in one hand.
• Hold the crank link screw in the
other hand.

• Push and pull the crank link
screw to operate the mechanism.
3 Remove excess grease from the
top of the stitch head.
