2 Fit the new latch housing to the
bender bar. Use the new screws
from the
914-880
Maintenance
Kit.
See FIGURE 3:11.
The latch housing is fastened with
Torx screws.
A Torx key is supplied in the kit.
3 Lubricate the driver bar. See FIGURE 3:12.
Apply grease to the driver bar as
shown by the shaded areas in the
diagram, in particular the cam pro-
file on the edge of the driver bar.
4 Inspect the driver for wear. The
driver can be turned through 180°
if necessary. Wear is indicated by
erosion of metal and loss of defini-
tion on the contact surfaces.
Fit the driver to the new driver bar.

If both ends of the driver are worn,
replace the driver with the one
from the
914-881
Supplementary
Kit.
