This appendix describes the instrument’s external connections.

External wiring and vacuum connections
When making connections to the QDa detector’s rear panel, refer to the figure on

To avoid injury, always perform a risk assessment when manually handling the
QDa Detector. Waters recommend two people lift the instrument.
Prohibited:
To avoid equipment damage caused by lifting, do not use the source drain
manifold to lift the instrument.
Notice:
If you must remove the instrument from service, contact Waters Technical Service
for recommended cleaning, flushing, and packaging procedures (see
).
