WARNING
DO NOT PULL THE FLOOR HEATING CABLE TIGHT AGAINST THE TURNS
OF THE WARM SURFACES™ FLOOR GAUGE DURING INSTALLATION.
Always form a 3” loop at each corner on the floor gauge. Refer to Figure
8.
When you reach the half way ,a
RED TAPE MARKS
indicate the center length of
the cable, evaluate remaining area.
Cable spacing can be adjusted ONLY in the BUFFER ZONE areas.
For cable shortage, consider the “
buffer
zone
” areas and omit placing heating
cable where it would provide little benefit.
For excess cable, spacing can be compressed to a
minimum 2-inch
pattern in
“
buffer zone
” areas
(FIGURE 9)
. To adjust cable, gently remove it from the
floor gauge, alter the pattern as required and then re-insert the cable into the floor
gauge.
