INSTALLING WARM SURFACES™ FLOOR GAUGE
The
Warm Surfaces™ Floor Gauge
can be stapled or glued to a plywood floor
or sub floor. On concrete surfaces the Floor gauge may be attached by means of
hot melt glue, self-tapping concrete anchors or equivalent.
It is important to properly uncoil the floor heating cable to prevent twisting.
Support the wire spool so it may turn freely while installing the floor heating wire
Cut a hole in the drywall and the sill plate large enough for three wires from the
floor heating cable and the floor sensor to pass through. This will be normally 1”
diameter.
