WARNING
When loosening the weight blocking clamp screw/screws, be careful that the adjustable weight
does not start rotating unexpectedly on the shift due to its weight, as this may cause potential
damage to people or things (Fig. 08-06).
Rotate the adjustable external weight/weights in the direction indicated by the arrow shown on the
adjustment disc until reaching the desired value and then lock it/them into position by tightening
the nuts or weight blocking screws; the torque values are listed in the TTT table, chapter 13.5
(Fig. 08-07).
Replace the weight covers, making sure the O-Rings are fitted properly into place (Fig. 08-08).
NOTE
It is imperative that the adjustment is identical at both ends: “mirror images of each other.”(Fig.
08-09).
8.2
Speed adjustment
The Vibrator speed can be adjusted by means of a frequency converter (PWM inverter), set in
such a way as to guarantee a constant ratio between voltage and frequency (V/Hz) until reaching
the max frequency indicated on the identification plate (Fig. 08-10).
NOTE
In case the Vibrator is to be operated at a lower speed than that indicated on the identification
plate, it is advisable to set the frequency converter (PWM inverter) in such a way as to enable
start–up at the same frequency as that indicated on the plate, and supply, after approx. 3-5
seconds, the corresponding frequency at the desired speed. The minimum output frequency
must never be lower than 40% of the value shown on the identification plate (Fig. 08-11).
WARNING
Feeding the Vibrator at a frequency higher than that indicated in the identification plate may
result in serius damage to the Vibrator and/or to people and things. In this respect, Visam s.r.l.
disclaims any liability for injuries or damage resulting from such improper use or application

MAINTENANCE
The Vibrator does not require any particular maintenance apart from bearing lubrication, where
foreseen.
The bearings are properly lubricated by Visam srl during assembly at the factory. The initial
lubrication period, type of lubricant, quantity and lubrication schedule are indicated in the IST
tables at chapter 13.3.
