Basic Safety Instructions
Basic Safety Instructions:

always apply for the safe operation of the special tool,

are compiled in the following subchapters.
3.4.1
General safety and accident prevention instructions
•
In addition to the safety instructions in this chapter, also observe
the generally applicable safety and accident prevention regula-
tions.
•
Always wear your personal protective equipment when working
on the special tool.
•
Observe the warning notices and instructions applied to the spe-
cial tool. In this way, you obtain important information for the
safe and faultless operation of the special tool.
•
In addition to the basic safety instructions in this chapter, also
observe the action-related safety instructions of the other chap-
ters.
•
Send any people out of the close vicinity of the special tool be-
fore you put it into operation. Pay particular attention to children.
Use of the special tool
•
Before starting work, familiarise yourself with all the equipment
and control elements and their functions of the special tool. Dur-
ing the work is too late for this.
•
Only put the special tool into operation when all safety devices
and protection equipment are installed.
•
It is forbidden for persons to be in the work / danger zone of the
special tool.
•
There are crushing and shearing points on moving parts of the
special tool which are operated by external force (e.g. hydrau-
lically).
•
You are only permitted to actuate parts of the special tool oper-
ated by external force if there are no persons in the danger zone
of the special tool.
