• Make certain that the rated voltage
stated on the welder's rating plate
matches the local mains voltage.
• The welder must not be used for
defrosting pipes.
• The welder must be operated on a
stable, level surface. When operated
on a gradient surface preventive action
must be taken to rule out a drop down of
the welder.
• The welder's mains supply must be
switched off after use.
• Use protective equipment when using
the welder in cramped rooms ore high
altitude.
WARNING!
Follow these instructions to prevent
electric shock:
• Contact with live parts can cause death
by electric shock and burns.
• The welder's output voltage is
dangerous under no-load. Never touch
live parts.
• Ensure that the welder and the welding
material are earthed before every use.
• Switch the welder off and disconnect
from the mains before installation or
maintenance works.
• Switch off the power supply before
changing the torch or electrodes.
• Welding cables with insufficient rating
and with worn or damaged insulation
have to be replaced immediately.
• Wear dry, insulated welding gauntlets.
• Never use the welder without housing.
• Use protective equipment when using
the welder in cramped rooms ore high
altitude.
• Switch off the power supply after use.
• Do not use the welder in rain or high
ambient humidity.
WARNING!
Wear mandatory protective equipment to
avoid injuries by arc radiation, splashes
of molten metal, slag, noise, smoke,
dust, gas, rotation, etc.
• The work area must be well ventilated.
• Put on suitable eye protection, long
sleeved work wear, welding gauntlets,
protective footwear and a welding apron
before every use.
• Ensure that your face mask provides
sufficient level of eye protection when
welding or supervising welding works.
• To prevent injuries of bystanders by arc
radiation the work area has to be fenced
off with opaque screens.
• Use sufficient ventilation and a dust
mask / respiratory aid when working in
cramped rooms.
• Do not use the welder in areas
designated for degreasing, cleaning or
paint spraying.
• Wear ear protection in noisy
environments.
• Wear a respirator mask when welding
coated or plated steel.
WARNING!
Contact with rotating parts of the welder
can cause injuries. Follow the insturcions
below:
• Avoid contact of fingers, hair and
clothing with rotating parts of the air
cooling and wire feed mechanism.
• Never use the welder without the
housing fitted.
• The welder may only be installed, used
and maintained by qualified persons.
