Teaching an EnOcean gateway as switch
NOTE:
The method described below can
not
be used for bidirectional communica-
tion via the VLD telegram. For communica-
tion via the VLD telegram, the gateway is
taught like a receiver, see chapter 7 “Com-
municating with an external receiver”, page
Prerequisites:
The luminaire is connected to the
power supply.
If necessary: the wireless module is
accessible, see chapter 4.3 “Opening
Communication via RPS telegram is
set in the gateway application.
1. Carry out one of the following actions:

Press key
C
on the wireless module for
5 seconds, see Fig. 1.
The LED
B
flashes green.
or
X
Press the teach-in key on the luminaire
head for 5 seconds.
The LED on the luminaire head flashes
blue.
2. Send a UTE teach-in telegram to the
wireless module via the gateway.
The LED goes out.
The gateway is taught.
3. If the service flap of the luminaire is
open: Close the service flap, see chap-
ter 4.6 “Closing the service flap”, page
