Code Error message Cause Solution/Remedy
1 OVERCURRENT Shut down due to inverter overcurrent. The momentary output current is permanently exceeding.
Possible causes:
The motor load is too high
2 OVERVOLTAGE Shutdown due to overvoltage in the DC link. The input AC voltage might be too high.
3 EARTH FAULT Possible insulation failure in internal wiring or
motor. Power cycle the Winch 50 Series by unplugging the power and wait 30 seconds before
applying power again, consult authorized service technician if the failure keeps coming.
8 SYSTEM FAULT Internal system error. See remedy for No. 3
9 UNDER VOLTAGE Shutdown due to undervoltage in the DC link. The input AC voltage might be too low.
10 INPUT PHASE Input line phase is missing. Check supply voltage quality, external fuses and cable.
11 OUTPUT PHASE Missing current in one or more motor phase. See remedy for No. 3
13 UNDER TEMP <-10C The ambient temperature is below -10°C Make sure to warm-up electronic equipment to room temperature before applying
power.
14 DRIVE OVER TEMP Shut down due to inverter overheat. The temperature of the power electronics in the frequency inverter is too high.
The cooling is insufficient, for example, ambient temperature too high, insufficient air
circulation, dirty air grate or the fan is defective.
The drive can only be restarted when it has been allowed to cool down.
15 MOTOR STALLED Motor stall protection has tripped. The load may be too high.
16 MOTOR OVER TEMP Possible motor overheating has been detected by
the internal frequency inverter.
The load or the ambient temperature may be too high.
17 MOTOR UNDERLOAD Motor underload protection has tripped. See remedy for No. 3
22 EEPROM CHECKSUM Malfunction in the inverter memory. See remedy for No. 3
25 MICROCONTROLLER Timer reset of the watchdog. See remedy for No. 3
27 BACK EMF Motor was running during start-up. See remedy for No. 3
34 INTERNAL BUS Possible communication error in the equipment. See remedy for No. 3
35 APPLICATION Possible firmware error in the equipment. See remedy for No. 3
