Pet Settings
PET SETTINGS AND CORRECTION TYPES
To adjust your pet's settings, g
o to your pet’s card on the Dashboard and
select
the
SETTINGS
icon
( )
near the top right of the dashboard card.
This is where you can customize the Alerts for
g
eofence
s,
as well
as All Alerts in general.
Did you know the Freedom Collar uses three different Correction Types to help in training your dog? There
is Vibration, Audible tone and Ultrasonic tone. Not all dogs respond to the same stimuli and some
can even be startled by certain noises, so the Wagz App allows for personal customization of corrections
for your dog.
This is also where you can customize the Correction Types. You can do this by Toggling OFF/ON the
Corrections Types you want or don’t want. This determines what types of corrections go off with a Manual
Correction as well as a
g
eofence violation Correction.
This is also where you
can toggle OFF/ON
g
eofence-
specific corrections. Meaning, that if a dog violates a
g
eofence, the collar will not send corrections, but you
as the user, can still get an alert, if you so desire.
If you scroll to the bottom of this settings screen, you will be able to
ad
j
ust your collar's refresh frequency.
By tuning the rate at which your collar communicates its location and status, you can save battery life,
allowing your collar to last longer. Regardless of the refresh setting you choose here, you can always get a
fresh and current location by tapping on the location icon ( ) on the dashboard card.
