Sampling Frequency
The time intervals with which a process value is formed from the analog input
signal can be set using the “Sampling Frequency” parameter. The sampling
frequency can only be set module-wide, i.e., the same for all analog input
channels.
The sampling frequency also serves to suppress interference frequencies that
affect the useful signal of a sensor. For example, to suppress an interference
frequency of 50 Hz, a sampling frequency of 50 Hz must be selected. If the
values “50 Hz” or “60 Hz” are set, the interference frequencies are attenuated by
at least 38 dB, as specified in Section “Technical Data”.
The following values can be set:
•
100 Hz
•
10 Hz
•
50 Hz
•
60 Hz
The settings are made via the “
Sampling Frequency
” parameter, which is
descri
bed in Section “Commissioning” > … > “Setting Parameters”.
