9.1.1.3.5  “Dither Generator” Menu Item 

The “Dither generator” can be parameterized using this menu item. The static 

friction as well as the response threshold and hysteresis can be significantly 

reduced for each valve. Dithering can be switched off at low PWM frequencies.

Frequency 

The frequency of the dither generator can be selected here. This value 

corresponds to the 

#DG_FREQ

 parameter. 

Amplitude 

The amplitude can be specified in a percentage relationship to the 

nominal current here. Values up to a maximum of 50% are possible. This 

value corresponds to the 

#DG_AMPL

 parameter. 

Power-On Ramp 

The value for the start up ramp can be entered here. This value 

corresponds to the 

#DG_RAMP_ON

 parameter. 

Shutdown Ramp 

The value for the shut off ramp can be entered here. This value 

corresponds to the 

#DG_RAMP_OFF
