In the event of negative power values, verify correct connection of voltage

transformer, current transformer or Rogowski coil

In the event of negative power values, verify correct connection of voltage

transformer, current transformer or Rogowski coil.

Note the following for measurement of supply voltage:

- Before connecting the power network to the I/O module, determine the

topology and grounding of the power network on which measurement is to be

performed.

- When voltage transformers are used, it is essential for the N connection of the

I/O module to be grounded.

- The properties of the voltage transformers used directly affect the

measurement accuracy that can be achieved.

You can find information on the possible connection diagrams in the sections

“Power Measurement with 4-Wire Connection on Y Networks” and “Power

Measurement with 3-

Wire Connection on Y/Δ Networks.”

Voltage transformers are available on the market in different forms and accuracy

classes depending on the nominal voltage. Manufacturers are e. g.:
