12. CLEANING
2. Increase pressure to approximately half of
maximum pressure, disengage trigger
safety, trigger gun until flushing fluid
appears.
Remove the siphon tube assembly from the paint and place it in the flushing fluid.
3. Place the gun over a container of cleaning
fluid, press the gun trigger to thoroughly
flush the system
As with any spray equipment, the sprayer must be thoroughly cleaned.
5. Lift the drain tube and place it in an empty
clean bucket. Replace the cleaning fluid/
water with clean water in a bucket with a
suction tube. Repeat the procedure with
cleaning in the hose mode, but this time
direct the fluid coming out of the gun into
an empty bucket until clean water comes
out. Change the operating mode to
cleaning to transfer fluid from a full bucket
to an empty one with a drain tube. If the
fluid is clear, the process is complete.
Note: Use water for water-based paints, and a specialized agent, e.g. PUMP ARMOR from
GRACO for solvent-based paints
4. Turn the service valve down to open the
circuit and allow flushing fluid to circulate
only through the unit to clean the drain
tube
6. Turn the work valve to paint to remove
fluid from the hose. Turn off the power.
Otherwise it won't work properly. Clogging of specific parts is the most common cause of problems.
Compliance with the following guidelines will ensure trouble-free operation of the unit.
1. Turn on the power, turn the work valve
horizontally, clean the hose and gun.
Perform the pressure relief procedure.
