• NEVER run dirty water through the pump.
• Check the supplied inline filter is connected to the pump inlet, and that it is not clogged
and in good working condition.
• NEVER run caustic (lye) or acidic substances through the pump.
• NEVER use chemical cleaning agents that are not compatible with the Buna-N and
PVC (polyvinyl) or neoprene covering of the hose.
• NEVER run water into the machine more than 60°C .
• ENSURE the water supply into the pump is sufficient, minimum 15lt/min 20psi.
• Before starting the machine be sure the pump is primed & air is purged from the
system by allowing water to flow through the pump.
• When drawing water from a pressure source you need a hose with a 5/8”outside
diameter for lengths up to 15 metres, and 3/4” diameter for lengths up to 30 metres.
Low oil shutdown
The engine is equipped with a low oil shutdown feature and will automatically turn off if
the oil level is below the satisfactory level. This should only be used as an emergency
fail safe. Always check and top up oil to the correct level before use.
Engine precautions
• Use quality fresh Unleaded RON 91 fuel only.
• Use suitable engine oil based on engine manufacturer’s recommendation.
• Ensure oil is filled to the thread on the inlet before use.
Pump oil
• The pump is shipped with correct amount of oil already filled directly from the factory.
The oil should be good for the life of the pump and will not require topping up or
replacement under normal use. Should you need an oil replacement, please contact a
qualified service agent as the pump must be completely removed. Instruction to do this
is not provided as we do not recommend customers doing this.
