wIre-free SenSorS
The sensors help you to monitor your garage door, in-house door,
window, medicine cabinet, or an area around your house. This
keeps you notiied if the monitored object is open or closed, or
someone has accessed an area that is off-limits.
When any of the monitored garage door or
contact sensors open, or when there is
motion in the monitored area, the sensor
sends an alert to your telephone. Both the
base and handsets announce and display
alert messages.
The telephone system has a sensor log. It
stores the latest 50 alert messages from
all sensors. You can review when and
which sensor was triggered. You can also
use the individual sensor’s menu to check
the current sensor status.
You can choose to receive alert calls at other telephones. Store
up to three desired telephone numbers, for example your mobile
phone number and ofice phone number, into the telephone base.
You will be notiied even when you are away from home. When you
receive the remote alert call from the telephone base, you can
choose to listen to the sound in your house; or you can choose to
speak through the telephone base to the visitor or intruder.
Follow the instructions in this section to change alert settings, to
rename the sensor, and to review the sensor log.
NOTES
When there are more than four DECT devices registered, the telephone
system supports sensor alerts
for the irst four registered DECT devices
only.
When the system is in power-fail back up mode, you are
un
able to use the
remote listen and talk-back feature.
