Suggeston
The answerng system
does not record
messages.
• Make sure the answerng system s on.
The messages on the
answerng system are
ncomplete.
• If a caller leaves a very long message, part of t may be lost when the system dsconnects the
call after four mnutes.
• If the caller pauses for more than five consecutive seconds, the system stops recording and
dsconnects the call.
• If the memory on the system becomes full durng a message, the system stops recordng and
dsconnects the call.
• If the caller’s voce s very soft, the system may stop recordng and dsconnect the call.
The messages on
the system are very
difficult to hear.
• Press
/
/voLUME
on the telephone base to ncrease the speaker volume.
The answerng system
does not respond to
remote commands.
• Make sure your remote access code s correct (page 32).
• Make sure you are callng from a touch-tone telephone. When dalng a number, there should
be tones. If there are clcks, then t s not a touch-tone telephone and cannot actvate the
answerng system.
• The answerng system may not detect the remote access code when the announcement s
playng. Wat untl the announcement s over before enterng the code.
• There may be interference on the telephone line you are using. Press the keypad keys firmly
when dalng.
