IMPORTANT - The base station should only be used for refilling the
straightener water reservoir. Please do not rest the straightener
on the base station when not in use.
12. Once you’ve finished styling your hair, ensure you empty all the
water reservoirs:
a) Base station water reservoir - empty water from the top section
of the base station by lifting the black rubber plug on the top &
pour remaining water into a sink.
b) Base station bottom tank - empty water from the bottom
section of the base station by lifting the black rubber plug on
the bottom & pour remaining water into a sink.
c) Straightener water reservoir - remove the water reservoir from
the bottom of the straightener, lift the black rubber plug &
pour remaining water into a sink.
ALWAYS remove excess water from the base station water
res the base station bottom tank + the straightener water
reservoir after use, since leaving unused water in the reservoirs
can cause clogging over time.
NB - NEVER add any other liquid aside from distilled water to the
water reservoirs.
