OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Wash, condition & dry your hair as normal.
Ensure your hair is combed through & tangle-free.
1. Fill either the base station water reservoir or the straightener
water reservoir with distilled water, following the instructions on
pages 8 to 11.
2. Place the straightener onto a heat protective, flat level surface.
3. Plug your straightener into a 230-240V~ suitable power outlet.
4. Press the On/Off
( )
button to turn your straightener on. The
default 140°C LED indicator will illuminate & start to flash. At this
point the straightener will start heating up.
5. Press the
( )
button to adjust to your desired temperature
indicated on the LED display. Once the temperature you have
selected has been reached, it will then stop flashing on the
display.
6. If using the steam function, press the steam
( )
button once
to switch on the steam function. The steam LED indicator will
illuminate.
7.
When using the steam function & the plates are closed, the
straightener will make a clicking sound. This is completely normal
& part of standard operation as the pump is pushing the water
through the inside mechanism.
8. Divide your hair into 4 sections (2 back & 2 front).
9. Starting with the back sections at the nape of the neck, take a
horizontal section no wider than the plate of the straightener
& clamp the plates over the section then glide down slowly &
evenly.
10. Repeat this through all sections.
11. After use, turn your straightener off by pressing the On/Off
( )
button.
Allow straightener to cool before storing.
