6.
Make sure that the water in the centralised water
system has a pressure between 2 and 5 bar (30
- 70 psi), then at this point open the valve to
power the machine.
7.
Leaving the end-of-line vent valve open, where
available as included in the misting line, switch
on the unit via the switch (1 fig. 13A) and let the
water flow, allowing the evacuation of air bubbles
trapped in the misting line and in the pump. This
operation should last 6-8 minutes. For further
information on how to best configure the misting
unit using the electronic panel, see the relative
instructions for use later in this manual.
8.
Once the air has been evacuated, close the vent
valve and check that the pressure gauge (C - fig.
13A) indicates a pressure of 70 bar (1000 psi),
keeping in mind that the pressure will be stable
after 15-20 minutes. In the event that the
pressure indicator needle has significant
vibrations, it signals the presence of more air
that must be evacuated, opening the vent valve
at the end of the line again for a few seconds
and then closing it again.
9.
Within a maximum time of 5 minutes, the water
will be sprayed by the high pressure line with the
nozzles. If this does not happen, switch off the
system following the instructions provided and
contact the manufacturer or the manufacturer's
service assistance.
10.
Check that the nozzles are correctly
sealed/tightened. If pressure is significantly lower
than the indicated 70 bar (1000 psi), the causes
may be due to poor water supply, leaks from
nozzles or end-of-the-line or from the use of a
number of nozzles that is significantly higher
than originally envisaged for the system. Contact
the supplier in such cases.
11.
If one or more of the nozzles is leaking, switch
off the system before unscrewing them. Then
open the nozzles showing the defect to make
sure that there are no impurities inside them,
taking care not to lose the anti-drip pin contained
in them.
12.
It is possible to activate only the fans by pressing
the corresponding button (2 - fig. 13A) on the
control panel.
13.
The management control panel allows for various
adjustments and safety settings on the misting
unit. We therefore recommend that you consult
the relevant instructions for use later in this
guide.
The misting unit switches off
automatically in the event that mains
water is cut off in order to avoid damage
to the machine. The unit could
automatically shut off to protect the windings if
an over-absorption of current occurs due to a
sudden drop in voltage or to the use of an
extension cord with a cross-section that is too
small (minimum 2.5 mm2/0.0038 sq in) or when
working directly under direct sunlight. Should
this happen, you may need to replace the fuse
inside the electrical panel of the machine,
contacting the manufacturer or manufacturer
service assistance. To this end, we recommend
checking that the electrical mains do not have
frequent or significant voltage changes. If the unit
remains for a prolonged amount of time below the
rated voltage of the mains, it may become
damaged.
