Disconnect the VECU and install
adapter J-43234 between the VECU
and wiring harness connectors PA/PB.

Connect a 60-pin breakout box
9998551 (with overlay J-43340) to the
adapter.

Turn the ignition key to the ON posi-
tion.

Connect a voltmeter to the 60-pin
breakout box and measure the voltage.

Verification
To check that the fault has been corrected, use the test
in the VCADS Pro tool (see “Appropriate Tests in the
VCADS Pro Tool” page 241).
