After use in extreme conditions:
IMPORTANT! If the engine has been operated
partly submerged in water, a thorough inspec-
tion and cleaning must follow as soon as pos-
sible. Water, especially salt water, is particularly
damaging to the engine components. This also
applies even if the water level did not exceed the
crankshaft, as sea conditions may mean that
water washed over the engine.
• Check and clean all outer engine components.
Take special care of the electrical system.
• Replace the engine oil.
