• Never use the product immediately after it has been taken from a cold room into
a warm one. The condensation that forms can ruin the product under certain
circumstances.
Allow the product to reach room temperature before connecting it to the power
supply and putting it to use. This may take several hours.
• Handle the product with care; it could be damaged by impacts, blows, or acciden-
tal falls, even from a low height.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. It may become a dan-
gerous plaything for children.
• If you are unsure about correct operation or if questions arise which are not cov-
ered by the operating instructions, please do not hesitate to contact our technical

notes on reChArGeAbLe bAtteries
• The rechargeable battery is permanently installed in the housing of the power
bank and cannot be replaced.
• Never throw the device into a fire. There is danger of fire or explosion due to the
rechargeable batteries!
• Charge the power bank on a regular basis even when not in use (approximately
every 3 months). Otherwise, the battery may lose its charge and become perma-
nently unusable.
No initial discharge is required before charging due to the rechargeable battery
technology used.
• Place the device on a heat-resistant surface when charging. A slight warming
during the charging process is normal.
• If your skin comes into contact with leaking or damaged batteries, you may suffer
burns. For this reason you should use suitable protective gloves.
• Liquids leaking from rechargeable batteries are very chemically aggressive.
Objects or surfaces coming into contact with these liquids could be considerably
damaged.
GettinG stArteD
Recharge the built-in rechargeable battery completely before each use.
Make sure that the power rating of your mobile device matches that of the device
(see “Technical data” chapter).
Always read the operating instructions of your mobile device.
Do not short circuit the USB input/output of the power bank.
a) Checking the charge level of the built-in rechargeable battery
Press the control button on the power bank briefly to check the charge level of the built-in re-
chargeable battery. An alternating light will appear, indicating that the power bank is checking
the battery. Following this, the LED lights will indicate the charge level (1 LED = 25%, 2 LEDs
= 50%, 3 LEDs = 75%, 4 LEDs = 100%). A single flashing LED indicates that the charge level
is below 25%.
The power bank turns off automatically after a few seconds and the blue LEDs go dark
again if no USB device is connected for charging.
b) Charging the internal rechargeable battery via usb adapter
• First, disconnect all devices that are connected to the charging ports of the power bank.
It is not possible to use the charging ports and charge the power bank simultaneously.
• Connect the micro USB socket via the included USB Y-cable to a suitable USB power sup-
ply (e.g. the power supply that came with your mobile device/ smartphone). It must be able
to supply a current of at least 1 A.
The two A plugs of the USB-Y cable can be used interchangeably.
• Whilst charging, the 4 blue LEDs of the charge level indicator flash like a chaser. When
charging is complete, all 4 LEDs will stay on constantly.
• The charging time depends on the status of the battery and can last for several hours (see
chapter “Technical data” for charging time of a fully discharged battery).
• Once the built-in rechargeable battery is fully charged, disconnect the power bank from the
voltage/ current supply. The power bank is now ready to use.
c) Charging the built-in rechargeable battery via the usb port of a computer
• First, disconnect all devices that are connected to the charging ports of the power bank.
It is not possible to use the charging ports and charge the power bank simultaneously.
• Now, connect both USB A plugs of the supplied USB Y-cable to your PC or a USB hub
equipped with its own power supply. Due to the two USB plugs, the current accumulates (at
USB2.0, each 500 mA), which makes charging via the power bank possible.
Do not use any USB ports - such as those of a keyboard or a USB hub - which are not
equipped with their own power supply; the available current will not be sufficient.

battery of e.g. a mobile device/ smartphone. The built in, permanently installed rechargeable
battery is charged via USB. The device has a charge level indicator with 4 LEDs. Additionally,
