d) Setting the Display Lighting
Select the function “Backlight” with the function buttons “F1” or “F3”. The selected function is marked with a bar.
Push the button “F2” to confirm the selection. In the next menu, the display lighting can be set in 7 steps. The step is
displayed via a bar display. Use the buttons „F1“ and „F3“ to change the brightness.
Confirm the setting by pressing the button “F2” (OK) The display switches back to the main menu.
e) Setting the Signal Sound
Select the function “Buzzer” with the function buttons “F1” or “F3”. The selected function is marked with a bar.
Push the button “F2” to confirm the selection. In the next menu, you can set the signal sound for pushing buttons
and alarm. Use the buttons “F1” and “F3” to select button sound “Button” and alarm sound “Alarm”. Use the button
“F2” to switch the function on and off (display “On” = on, display “Off” = off. Push the button “MODE”. The display
switches back to the main menu.
f) Setting the Display Contrast
Select the function “Contrast” with the function buttons “F1” or “F3”. The selected function is marked with a bar.
Push the button “F2” to confirm the selection. In the next menu, the display contrast can be set from 30 to 99%. Use
the buttons “F1” and “F3” to set the contrast.
Confirm the setting by pressing the button “F2” (OK). The display switches back to the main menu.
g) Setting the time for automatic Deactivation
Select the function “APO Time” with the function buttons “F1” or “F3”. The selected function is marked with a bar.
Push the button “F2” to confirm the selection. In the next menu, you can set the time until automatic deactivation
from 7 to 60 seconds. Use the buttons „F1“ and „F3“ to set the time.
Confirm the setting by pressing the button “F2” (OK). The display switches back to the main menu.
The time for automatic deactivation is running once no button is pushed anymore (measuring button or function
button). The automatic deactivation function is only deactivated in continuous measuring mode.
After deactivation, all automatically recorded data (current measured value/min/max/avg/dif) are lost. The
present system and alarm settings and the memory slots (1 - 30) are retained.
