1) When driving, a second mechanic is needed for reading the specified values.

2) The torque converter lock-up clutch must be open!

It is open when in display zone 1 "H" = hydraulic with slip is displayed. Additionally the character "+ or -" is

displayed. "+" signifies that the engine speed (pump speed) is greater than turbine speed, vehicle under traction.

"-" signifies that the engine speed is less than turbine speed, vehicle in overrun.

3) The gear shift must be completed. The torque converter lock-up clutch must be closed and the accelerator

pedal value held constant (gears will be mechanically activated "M").
