Factory Radio Removal

1.
Before proceeding, eject discs from factory unit if
present.
2.
Set parking brake and disconnect negative
battery cable to prevent any electrical short.
3.
Insert
VW radio removal tools
into slots in each side of
factory radio
face as shown. Slowly press in tools until
a click is heard from each side. The click will unlock
radio.
4.
Pull tools to pull radio out of dash opening. Disconnect
wiring harness and unplug antenna lead to remove radio.
5.
Remove two (2) Torx T15 screws from dash opening
as shown.
Note:
Retain these screws.
