Note that no check on existence of the file is made in case of disk-to-disk copying. In this
case, any files already present are overwritten.
When the operation is complete, the message

will appear on the display for a
few moments.
Press [ESC] to return to display of the FILES menu.
8.2.2 DELETE
The DELETE function allows you to delete one or more files present in a given memory unit.
From the FILES menu, press the [F2] function key to select the
DELETE
field. The display
will show the DIRECTORY video page, which will display the files in the memory unit required,
selected using the SOURCE keys on the front panel:
Remember that the [DISK] button will not be active if there is no floppy disk in the drive.
You can use the [SONG] and [LIST] keys of the MODE section to display the two types of files,
and the [PREV.] and [NEXT] buttons to scroll through the pages containing the files saved in
the selected memory unit.
You can now use the function keys associated to the files to select the ones you wish to copy.
When the file is selected, it will be identified by the
and
ª
markers at each end. To deselect
the file, press the relative function key again.
There is no limit on the number of files which can be selected; moreover, once you have
made the selections you require in one page, you will be able to display additional pages and
make further selections without aborting those you have already made.
After selecting the files you wish to delete, press the [ENTER] key to start the deletion
procedure. To abort the operation, press the [ESC] key.
