DATA FILER
Once the source disk has been inserted, the Genius will proceed to read it, and will automatically
write the data it contains in the internal memory.
This procedure will be displayed by the following video page:
The
(nn/nn)
field displays the number of files copied in relation to the total number on the
disk.
For greater convenience, the Genius checks whether the file being copied is already present
in the internal memory. If this is the case, the display will show:
as a request whether to proceed with overwriting of the file: press [ENTER] to confirm or
[ESC] to ignore the file and continue with those which follow.
Note that no check on existence of the file is made in case of disk-to-disk copying. In this
case, any files already present are overwritten.
When the operation is complete, the message
COMPLETED
will appear on the display for a
few moments.
8.1.6 INFO
The INFO allows the user to display the main data relating to the internal memory or the floppy
disk inserted. This allows you to keep constantly up to date on the amount of memory occupied
and available, and the number of files memorised.
