Reinstall the OEM quick connector using the supplied gear clamp.

Remove the protective cover from the engine spigot and reinstall the upper
radiator hose (Figure 111).

Remove the quick connector from the hose (Figure 109).

From the radiator end of the hose, measure 3/4 in, mark with a grease pen and
cut the hose (Figure 110).
