Splice the light blue wire from the throttle control to the wire at pin 20 (blue
wire at the time of writing) of the Ford Proprietary OBD II connector (Figure 46
or Figure 47).

Connect the grey wire to pin 1 on the “FIXED MODE” side of the selector switch
on the PTO indicator panel.
☐
Attach the (×2) green wires with ring connectors, running from the control box,
and the throttle control to a good ground under the dashboard (Figure 45).

Locate the OBD II port (generally located under the dashboard, beneath the
steering wheel column).
☐
Remove the fasteners securing the OBD II port to the dashboard; this provides
easier access to the wires at the back.

Peel back the tape on the harness a few inches.

Due to running OEM changes, the OBD II wire colours are subject to
change without notice however, pins 6 and 14 (or 19 and 20 on Ford’s
proprietary OBD II output interface) are the standard and shall be
the definitive method for determining the correct wire connections.
