Allow the appliance to cool down to room temperature prior to the next boil.

If the appliance is not in use, wrap the power cord (6) around the cable storage
(8) on the bottom of the base (7). Do not wrap the power cord (6) around the
base (7) unit itself.
5. Cleaning and care
5.1 Cleaning
1.
Prior to every cleaning, remove the mains plug (6) from the mains socket and
allow the appliance to cool down completely.
Caution - Danger of electrocution!
Do not immerse the appliance in
water or other liquids. Do not hold the appliance under running water.

Never use solvents or abrasives cleaners, hard brushes, metallic or sharp objects
when cleaning. Solvents are harmful and can damage plastics, abrasive cleaners
and aids can scratch surfaces.
3.
Clean the appliance housing and base (7) using a slightly damp cloth. Afterwards
dry the base (7) and appliance housing.
4.
Clean the inside of the water tank (11) using a soft brush.
WARNING -
Do not place your hand into the water tank (11). Danger
of injury.
5.2 Cleaning the filter
Caution - Danger of burns!
Always allow the appliance to cool down
completely prior to removing the filer.
1.
Open the lid (1). The filer is located in the filter holder
(14) by the spout (12).
2.
Remove the filter (13) by lifting it up, out of the filter
holder (14).
3.
Clean the filter (13) using a soft brush under running
water. Descale the filter (13) regularly, as described in
paragraph
5.3 Descaling
.
4.
Place the filter (13) back into the filter holder (14).
